The New Oldies

Jason Marshall

Friday

8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

If you’re a fan of 1980s and 1990s country music – then The New Oldies is the show for you.
Hosted by Jason Marshall, the two-hour show shines the spotlight on the country music boom of that era and features the great music of the day including Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, George Strait, Shania Twain, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire and many, many more.

The show also features a great deal of Canadian content, as well as a featured song from local artists who were touring the Valley in 80s and 90s. And what show would be complete without a weekly dose of Stompin’ Tom Connors?

In the era of big blown-dry hair and skinny leather ties (and Jason has the photos of him sporting both well hidden) – there was also some great country music, and you can find it on Valley Heritage Radio each Friday night from 8 to 10 p.m.
