Mary Cook is an award-winning broadcast journalist, an accomplished author, and a beloved storyteller. And she’s a Valley girl.

Mary grew up in the Ottawa Valley and has shared those warm memories with audiences for years through newspapers and magazines – and on the radio. Her weekly “Mary Cook Stories” air on on Tuesday afternoons at 12:55 – and they take listeners back to a simpler time, with heart-warming recollections and a healthy dose of laughter.

Mary continues to speak at events and at seniors’ homes throughout Ottawa and the Valley, to the delight of her legions of fans. Mary and her husband Wally live in Carleton Place.
