The Town of Mississippi Mills, Home Hospice North Lanark and Age Friendly North Lanark are excited to invite you to take part in the up-and-coming 55+ Expo 2025 on June 5, 2025 from 10am – 3pm at the John Levi Community Centre at 182 Bridge Street, Almonte, Ontario. This event is designed to showcase services and supports to the 55+ crowd in our communities.
Age Friendly North Lanark (AFNL) and Climate Network Lanark are partnering to bring you an interactive display highlighting Weathering a Storm Together in Mississippi Mills. After consulting over 100 older adults in Mississippi Mills, AGNL has produced the information you need to prepare, cope with and recover from increased intense, adverse weather events. You will learn what recommended items go into a 72-hour kit for sheltering in place and how to pack a GO BAG if you need to evacuate your home.
