Retreat Weekend: Saturday September 16, 9:00 a.m. – Sunday September 17, 1:00 p.m. “Spirituality and the Seasons of our Lives.” Location: Galilee Centre Cost (includes public lecture): $445 Single, $300 Double, $295 Commuter, $190 Virtual There are deeper levels of maturity, deeper levels of discipleship, and ever-deeper things to which we are called by Jesus. The challenges Jesus lays out in scripture speak to us in different ways at different times in our lives. The classical mystics distinguished three clear struggles within human maturity and within spiritual growth: i) the struggle to get our lives together; ii) the struggle to give our lives away; and iii) the struggle to give our deaths away. This retreat will attempt to lay out an overview of both ideal human growth and of spirituality.
