About the event
This year marks the thirtieth anniversary of the Arnprior & McNab/Braeside Archives (AMBA) serving the community. On behalf of the Archives’ board, all are welcome to help us celebrate by attending our Annual General Meeting and “Archives in Your Attic” event on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Arnprior Public Library (21 Madawaska Street). With the “Archives in the Attic”, the public has the opportunity to bring in archival items that may be tucked away and gathering dust in your home. Have our expert archivists assess their historical value and offer professional help on long-term preservation. Archival materials include photographs, maps, letters, and video or audio recordings, as well as documents. These items will be viewed on a first come basis, with follow-up appointments also available.
