Learn how the small town of Renfrew became an industrial powerhouse early in the 20th century thanks to the influence of captains of industry including AA Wright, Tom Low and MJ O'Brien. Now served by three railway lines and progressive policies, Renfrew saw an unprecedented industrial expansion that carried on into the 1930s. The town led the country in areas such as the generation and use of electrical power and the manufacturing of various products.
