The Poland Church, in the Lanark Highlands, has been out of commission since 1974 and Jillian Allinson has re-opened it as a community hub and music venue! On May 16th, there will be a show! Who is Jillian Allinson? Jillian Allinson is an up and coming Canadian woman in music. She is a songwriter, performer, music teacher and independant owner of the Poland Church Music Venue. Jillian Allinson has re-opened the Poland Church as a place to unite, gather, and uplift each other, just as the church was built to do many years ago. The Poland Church music venue is an intimate countryside venue set in the old original second story church space. Stained glass windows and beautiful wood, Jill plans to showcase high quality, music acts and art exhibits. On May 16th 2026, she will be doing just that.
