Storytelling Workshop November 4th at 10am
The library is so grateful to receive funding from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program for our Golden Growth project! We are starting our create phase of the project this fall and are very excited to bring you a storytelling workshop November 4th 10:00am at the Renfrew Public Library with professional storyteller Jennifer Cayley!
This storytelling workshop invites you to listen and ponder the richness of a few old traditional tales and explore why these old stories and their telling might still have something fundamental to offer humankind in this rapidly changing world. Jennifer has been telling stories for more than 40 years anywhere people want to listen. Venues have included the National Arts Centre, a community hall in a Welsh mining town, a club in Australia, a garden in Hawaii, as well as festivals, schools and libraries all over Canada.
