Captain A. Roy Brown Legion Branch 192 will be holding a special Parade and Ceremony to remember this historical event on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. Beginning @ Mill Street to Veterans Park for an Unveiling of Military Sculptures.

About the event
Here in Carleton Place, the Captain A. Roy Brown Legion Branch 192 will be holding a special Parade and Ceremony to remember this historical event on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. It will be held on Saturday, June 8th with a parade beginning at 12:45 a.m. from Mill Street beside the Town Hall and marching along Bridge Street to Franklin Street to Veterans Way. The parade will be led by the Almonte Legion Branch 240 Pipes and Drums. We encourage all citizens of Carleton Place to attend this special event.
