1/2 cup of butter 1 and 1/4 cups + 1 tablespoon of white sugar 1 egg 1 egg white 1 and 3/4 cups of flour 3 teaspoons of baking powder 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 1/2 cup of blanched almonds
Cream butter Add 1 cup of sugar gradually and cream until light and fluffy Add a well beaten egg Sift flour with baking powder and add to mixure. Chill and then roll to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into rounds Brush with egg white and sprinkle with remaining sugar mixed with the cinnamon Split almonds and arrange on each tart. Bake on a greased baking sheet at 330 to 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes.
