Board Members

Mackie retired from his position as the CAO/Clerk for the Township of Horton in 2016, and the Township’s loss was our gain. After 27 years at the helm of the Township, Mackie joined our Board of Directors and was appointed Treasurer for the station. His experience and guidance has contributed greatly to the success of Valley Heritage Radio in recent years.

His passion for volunteering and helping out in the community were a perfect fit here at VHR, and his love for the Ottawa Valley is evident. Mackie and his wife Joanne live in Renfrew.
