Sugar Pie (Tarte Au Sucre)

Ingredients



1 1/2 cups brown sugar

3/4 cup whipping cream

2 1/2 Tbsp corn-starch

pastry for a single crust 8 ounce pie



Instructions


Line an 8 inch pie plate with pastry. In a bowl, mix sugar, cream, corn-starch, pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in pre-heated 425 F oven for 10 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 325 F and continue baking for 25 to 30 minutes longer or until filling is set and golden. Serve warm or at room temperature.
