LISTEN LIVE The People's Voice of the Ottawa Valley CJHR – 98.7 FM – Valley Heritage Radio – is the Ottawa Valley’s first, non-profit, community owned and operated, full-powered, volunteer-run, English-language radio station. ​ The 13,000-watt broadcast signal covers most of the Ottawa Valley, while the world is served via live Internet streaming. Our studios are located just east of the Town of Renfrew, in Horton Township, at 3009 Burnstown Road. ​ The station offers the “traditional” sounds of the country, bluegrass, fiddle and Ottawa Valley music, with a self-imposed mandate to focus programming on Canadian content, with the aim of promoting Canadian and local talent as much as possible. 1 egg Juice of 1 orange plus enough water to make 3/4 cup 1/2 cup Crisco Oil 2 cups of flour 1/2 cup of sugar Grated rind on 1 orange 2 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup chopped cranberries 1/2 teaspoon soda 1/2 teaspoon salt Cream sugr, egg, oil, orange rind, orange juice and water. Add dry ingredients and mix, then add cranberries. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes - Makes 12 muffins

French Bread 1 dozen eggs 1 cup of milk 1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard Mushrooms, onions, green peppers, ham Use a 9 x 13 inch glass pan. Combine all ingredients and let soak overnight. Cover with grated cheese. Cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

6 oz. pkg chocolate chipits 1 pkg. mini marshmallows 1 egg, well beaten 1 cup icing sugar 1 Tbsp butter 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup walnuts 1 1/2 cups coconut, approximately, divided Sprinkle coconut in bottom of 9 inch square pan. Melt chocolate chipits with the tablespoon butter on medium heat until smooth then add egg, icing sugar, vanilla and walnuts. Remove from heat and add marshmallows, mixing well. Pour into the prepared pan and sprinkle remaining coconut over top. Refrigerate and cut in 1 1/2 to 2 inch squares.
